Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly report unauthorized account activity.

You may not impersonate another person, claim a handle you have no right to use, transfer an account to evade restrictions, or use automated account creation. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

BuyATreat provides software for creator pages, posts, memberships, one-time support, messages, reporting, and creator workspace tools.

Creator transactions: tips and creator memberships are paid directly to the creator through the creator's connected Razorpay account. The creator is the seller and is responsible for their content, membership promises, supporter service, taxes, refunds, and disputes. BuyATreat supplies the technology and is not the seller of the creator's offering.

Platform subscriptions: a creator's paid BuyATreat plan is a separate SaaS purchase from BuyATreat and uses BuyATreat's platform payment account. It must not be confused with money paid by supporters to creators.

Creators must describe tiers, prices, benefits, delivery expectations, and material limitations honestly. Creators are responsible for fulfilling advertised benefits and responding to supporter questions, cancellations, and refund requests.

Creators must maintain a valid Razorpay account, comply with Razorpay's onboarding and acceptable-use requirements, protect their credentials, and provide any tax invoices or registrations required by law. BuyATreat does not guarantee approval, settlement timing, account availability, or payout decisions made by Razorpay or a bank.

Supporter information visible in the creator workspace may be used only to administer the relevant support or membership relationship. It must not be sold, scraped, disclosed, or used for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis and required consent.

Before paying, review the creator's identity, tier description, price, renewal terms, and policies. Memberships may renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize Razorpay to process the selected payment using the payment method you provide.

You may not use stolen payment instruments, submit false disputes, manipulate checkout amounts or tier identifiers, replay payment requests, or attempt to obtain paid access without a successfully captured payment.

Prices and applicable billing intervals are displayed before checkout. Razorpay, banks, card networks, or tax authorities may impose charges outside BuyATreat's control. Any BuyATreat platform fee or subscription price shown at purchase may change prospectively with appropriate notice.

Creators are responsible for taxes arising from creator earnings. Supporters and creators are responsible for taxes applicable to their own purchases or activities. BuyATreat may retain transaction records and provide information where legally required.

Cancellation and refund rules differ for creator transactions and BuyATreat SaaS subscriptions. Current rules and request instructions are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Deleting an account does not replace a cancellation request. Cancel recurring subscriptions before requesting account deletion.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant BuyATreat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for cached copies, backups, legal retention, and content already shared by others.

You must own or have permission to use everything you upload. Do not post material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. BuyATreat's software, branding, interface, and original materials remain owned by BuyATreat and its licensors.

You may not use BuyATreat for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harassing, hateful, exploitative, sexually abusive, or dangerous activity; prohibited products or services; money laundering; sanctions evasion; spam; malware; credential theft; scraping; platform interference; or infringement of another person's rights.

You may not probe security, bypass access controls or rate limits, reverse engineer restricted portions of the service, overload infrastructure, or use supporter data outside its intended purpose. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend payments, preserve evidence, or close accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, or platform integrity.

BuyATreat relies on services including Razorpay for payments, Supabase for authentication and data infrastructure, Vercel for hosting, and Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies.

External links and creator offerings are controlled by third parties. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, or performance.

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to keep it secure and reliable but do not promise uninterrupted operation, particular earnings, audience growth, creator performance, or continuous availability of a third-party provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyATreat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss; lost profits; lost content; creator non-performance; payment-provider decisions; or disputes between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

You may stop using BuyATreat at any time after cancelling recurring subscriptions. We may restrict or terminate access for violations, fraud risk, legal requirements, security incidents, unpaid platform fees, or material harm to users or the service.

We may update these Terms as the product or law changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Courts having jurisdiction over BuyATreat's registered place of business will have jurisdiction, subject to any dispute process required by applicable law.
